Meet our Attorney
Allison K. DeVore
Allison (Allie) DeVore is a Florida native who grew up enjoying the Gulf and beaches of Pinellas County. She graduated from Florida State University where she received her undergraduate degree, then moved to California’s West Coast to attend Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego. During law school, Allie provided legal services to low income entrepreneurs and artists in her school’s Small Business Law Center, assisted clients in need of pro bono estate planning through Elder Law & Advocacy of San Diego, was an Editor on her school’s Law Review where she was chosen to publish her Note, and graduated in the top 10% of her class.
After soaking up as much of the San Diego lifestyle as she and her husband could, they decided to move back home to Florida. Allie was sworn into The Florida Bar in 2014 and began practicing business and estate planning law thereafter.
Always passionate about the environment and preserving it for the next generation, Allie offered pro bono legal services to the Conservation Foundation of the Gulf Coast after law school. In 2018 she founded local nonprofit, GreenTown Kids, which inspires kids and families to learn about and help their environment through beach cleanups, gardening, education, and school activities.
With two young boys and a husband who is a local Realtor, Allie has built her law practice purposefully and mindfully. She is thrilled to continue to grow Palm Legal and serve her clients through every stage of their lives!
Allie looks forward to helping you in any way she can while building a longterm relationship. Whether you’re just getting started with your nonprofit or business, growing faster than you expected, or trying to figure out what you need to have a solid estate plan in place for you and your family, she’s ready to help you plan and protect the things most important to you.

ESTATE PLANNING
Wills
A Last Will and Testament is a foundational component of every complete estate plan. It lays out your personal and property wishes when you die. It is also the place to name a guardian for your minor children and a custodian for their inherited property, in case both parents are gone. We make the process easy and comfortable, and you get the peace of mind knowing everything’s in place.
Trusts
There are many types of trusts. A Revocable Living Trust is a legal document that can help you avoid probate and distribute your property easily when you die. However, trusts don’t do anything unless they are funded properly. We set-up your trust and fund it with your real and personal property, helping you create a solid estate plan.
“Allie was recommended to me, so I hired her to set up my trust. She quickly handled everything in a timely, patient, professional, and helpful manner. I enjoyed working with her and give her my highest endorsement.”
— Peter P.
ESTATE PLANNING
Medical Directives & Living Wills
A Medical Directive is a legal document in which you specify what actions should be taken for your health if you are unable to make them yourself. You will also designate a health care surrogate to advocate these actions on your behalf. A Living Will details your specific treatment and post-death instructions.
Powers of Attorney
A Financial Durable Power of Attorney is a legal document that may be a part of your total estate plan. Once created, it allows your named agent to act on your behalf for any financial transactions you could perform. Being durable means it stays in effect, even if you become incapacitated. Having this document in place saves your loved ones from a court proceeding, should you ever become incapaciated.
“Palm legal was vital in getting my estate planning documents in order. Allie was responsive and provided thoughtful answers to questions throughout, while helping me stay on task and meet deadlines. Fees were very reasonable and I'll be back for some business projects in the future!”
— Jennifer K.
